Returns & Exchange Policy
At Drapen Silk, we understand that sometimes, plans change. Our return, refund, and cancellation policy is designed to be simple, clear, and customer-friendly.
Shipping Charges
- Refunds are initiated only after the returned product reaches us in a saleable condition.
- Refunds will be processed to the same bank account/card used for the original purchase, after deducting applicable transaction charges.
- For card payments, refunds are routed through our secure payment gateway and credited back to the original source.
- Payments made via Demand Draft/Cheque will be refunded through courier.
- If the product ordered is out of stock, a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, you may choose another product of the same value. Our team will reach out via email for confirmation.
- For multiple-product orders, any out-of-stock item(s) will be refunded individually.
- In the event of a damaged product upon delivery, please inform our Customer Care team immediately at the time of delivery. The issue will be reviewed with our courier partner, and we will arrange for a replacement or full refund including shipping charges, based on the damage assessment.
Store Credits
- Colour variations due to screen/device settings will not be considered as valid grounds for refund. In such cases, store credit will be issued.
- If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the product within 7 days of delivery.

Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them to be eligible for a refund.
- Cancellation Charges:
- 5% on refunds made through PayPal or PayGlocal
- 3% on all other payment modes
- 5% on refunds made through PayPal or PayGlocal
- Orders placed during festival or promotional sales (e.g. Pongal, Diwali, Aadi Sale, Valentine’s Day) cannot be cancelled as these are limited-period offers.
- Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled. However, you may choose to receive store credit or exchange for another product of the same value.
Non-Returnable/Non-Exchangeable Products
We will be unable to accept return, exchange or cancellation in the following cases:
- Product does not have its price tag intact
- Blouse piece has been detached, cut, or stitched
- Pico, fall, or tassel stitching has been added
- Product has undergone any customization or embroidery
- The package has been used, tampered with, or damaged after opening
Change of Mind Returns
If you simply change your mind after purchase, we request that you return the product within 7 days from the delivery date, in its original, unused condition. We’ll be happy to offer store credit upon verification.
